We specialize in manufacturing durable and reliable aqualined corrugated steel water tanks for various applications.

About the Material

Our material is Australian made. It is a polymer film that is located on the inside of the tank. The outside is treated with a clear weatherable water-based resin. The resin is used to reduce the colour fading. 

The polymer film lining is 200um thick and does not contain BPA, DEHP, calcium stabilizer or zinc stabilizers.

Aquaplate Steel meets the AS/NZS 4020:2018 - testing of products used incontact with drinking water.

​

Unlike other steel that is affected by water, aquaplated steel has minimal impact from water or the quality of water. This is because the polymer film acts a barrier. 

​

The base of the tank is subject to more challenging conditions because it is incontact with the ground, therefore the bases have polymer on both sides of the zinc coated steel to maximize the service life of the tank.
